- Registration: GOAPS opened on 2 September 2026. Apply by 27 September without a late fee, or by 5 October with the applicable late fee. Complete payment and check your application status.
- Identity and documents: prepare the DigiLocker information required for your application and make sure your name and date of birth match the identity document you select. Follow the official upload instructions for your category.
- Corrections and travel: the rectification window is 14–21 October 2026; city allotment is scheduled for 4 January 2027. Wait for your assigned centre and session before finalising travel.
- Paper choices: GATE 2027 offers 30 papers, including Robotics and Automation (RA). If choosing two papers, use the permitted combinations and the revised syllabus for each subject.
