1. Days of the Week
Concept: A week has 7 days. They repeat in the same order every week!

Important Facts:
• There are 7 days in one week
• After Sunday, the week starts again with Monday

Concept: A year has 4 seasons. Each season has different weather and lasts about 3 months!

4. Number of Days in Each Month
Concept: Different months have different numbers of days - 28, 29, 30, or 31 days!

5. Read a Calendar
Concept: A calendar shows all the days in a month. We use it to find dates and plan events!

6. Relate Time Units
Concept: Time units connect to each other! We can convert between different time measurements.
Time Unit Relationships
1 minute = 60 seconds
1 hour = 60 minutes
1 day = 24 hours
1 week = 7 days
1 month = approx 4 weeks
1 year = 12 months
1 year = 365 days(366 in leap year)

How many hours in 2 days?
2 times 24 = 48 hours
How many days in 3 weeks?
3 times 7 = 21 days
How many minutes in 2 hours?
2 times 60 = 120 minutes

Concept: A.M. and P.M. help us know if it's morning or evening. A day is divided into two 12-hour periods!
